These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of www.reiszandshine.net (the “Site”) and the cleaning services provided by Reisz & Shine (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site or booking a service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

We provide professional exterior home services, including exterior and interior window cleaning, screen and track cleaning, hard-water stain removal, protective sealant application, pressure washing, gutter cleaning, and holiday lighting installation. The exact scope of any job is described in the written quote or work order for that booking.

2. Quotes and estimates

Online and phone estimates are non-binding ranges based on the information you provide. The final price is confirmed after an on-site assessment and may change if the actual condition or scope of work differs from what was described. We will discuss any change with you before proceeding.

3. Scheduling and cancellations

  • Appointments are scheduled by phone, email, or through the Site and confirmed by a return message.
  • You may reschedule or cancel a booking at no cost up to 24 hours before the appointment time. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a trip fee.
  • If our technician arrives and cannot access the property as arranged, a trip fee may apply.

4. Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information about the property, the materials to be cleaned, and any known pre-existing damage or staining.
  • Move or secure fragile or valuable items before our team arrives, unless we have agreed in writing to handle them.
  • Ensure a working water supply and electrical outlet are accessible.
  • Disclose any pets, allergies, or chemical sensitivities so we can adjust our solutions accordingly.

5. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of the job unless other arrangements have been made in writing. We accept the payment methods listed at the time of booking. Late or unpaid balances may accrue a reasonable finance charge as permitted by Nebraska law.

If the person responsible for payment will not be present at the appointment, or the property will be empty (for example, a turnover or pre-move-in cleaning), payment is collected in full before the work begins.

6. Workmanship and satisfaction

We stand behind our work. If you are not satisfied with the result, contact us within 48 hours of the service and we will return to re-clean the affected area at no additional charge. This satisfaction promise applies to the cleaning workmanship only.

7. Limitations

  • Cleaning cannot undo every condition. Some marks are permanent: mineral etching from hard water, scratches, and paint or construction residue bonded to the glass. We will tell you before we start if a result is uncertain.
  • We are not responsible for normal wear and tear, fading from sunlight, manufacturing defects, or pre-existing damage.
  • Pre-existing glass conditions. Scratches, chips, cloudiness from failed insulated-glass seals, and heavy mineral etching can remain visible after cleaning. We identify any such condition before starting and tell you what cleaning can and cannot improve.
  • Screens, tracks, and hardware. Older or brittle screens, frames, and cranks can be fragile. We handle them with care, but we are not responsible for pre-existing damage or for parts that fail because of age or prior wear.
  • Exterior surfaces. Pressure washing brightens siding, concrete, and similar surfaces, but it cannot reverse permanent staining, oxidation, or damage already present in the material. We will tell you what to expect before we begin.
  • If issues come up during a job that fall outside the scope of the booked service, addressing them is not part of the contract. If you would like us to restore or replace something beyond the original scope, we will quote that as an additional service and proceed only with your approval.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Nebraska law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

9. Photos and media

With your permission, we may take before-and-after photos of our work for training, marketing, and case-study purposes. We will never share photos that identify your address or include identifying personal information without your written consent.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Douglas County, Nebraska.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site or our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
